My family is a very religious group and the neighbourhood we live in was purchased almost entirely by my grandfather (21 six bedroom houses) because It was cheaper then buying a compound and building houses on it is what I heard.

The religious philosophy of my family is very particular, and puts a massive emphasis on family, to the point where they don't really trust people who aren't family, which has led to me and most of my family growing up homeschooled.
