The breakup of the United Kingdom.

Serious question from a Royalist American. Do residents of England, Wales, or Northern Ireland object to Scotland's independence and/or the breakup of the United Kingdom?

English here, and actually, I would love for Scotland to leave the UK. Every year, the UK spends more money on Scotland than we get from them in tax money. They are literally a drain on the country.

In Scotland, their university costs are heavily reduced, they pay no prescription costs. They have their own special parliament for what goes on there, and then they get to come to ours and vote too. Worst part is that after all that, they have the gall to whine and bitch about how they want to be independent. Oh, but they want the queen as their head of state, and they want to keep using the pound.

What I want to know is why should the vote be one way? Rather than voting for whether they want to leave, the rest of the UK should get to vote on whether we want them to stay.

Not true, mate. That was shit the three party leader cunts said before their referendum.

Actual figures are Scotland contributes 9.6% of UK tax and receives 9.3% of UK spending. But the three party cunts and the entire media which is control by them didn't want people to know that.

I went to scotland once. On a stop over.
The cabin crew suggested we all go out and club it. I had no option. It was that or one of their B&Bs. I figured it'd be safer on the streets. For the first time ever I saw the Scotch in their natural habitat, and it weren't pretty. I'd seen them huddling in stations before, being loud but… this time I was surrounded. Everywhere I went it felt like they were watching me; fish-white flesh puckered by the Highland breeze; tight eyes peering out for fresh meat; screechy, booze-soaked voices hollering out for a taxi to take 'em halfway up the road to the next all-night watering hole. A shatter of glass; a round of applause; a sixteen-year-old mother of three vomiting in an open sewer, bairns looking on, chewing on potato cakes. I ain’t never going back… not never.
