A reminder the brave men and women of our armed forced are still making this world a safer place.

And a reminder that veterans deserve the support of the society they served. Especially when they feel alienated from it. It's not enough to just say "thank you for your service". You should find charities which put the services and goods into the actual hands of veterans, demand the VA is improved to serve them better, support job programs for veterans, and make real differences in their lives.

Western society and democracy is the beacon of human civilization and history, and the West makes the world a safer place. Never forget the men and women who make that happen where it counts. This goes for our allied service people as well.
