What do Britbong /newpol/ think of UKIP? Are they going to save the UK from its shitty economy, mass immigration, political correctness, and the encroaching Islamists?

Leaving the EU is a stupid idea, if we leave then we stand to become the Mexico of Europe because of all the brain drain and the migration of businesses. Something seriously needs to be done about immigration though, this is an island nation with very limited housing and resources, there just is not enough space for everyone.

You think UKIP will change that? We cannot compete with India and China when it comes to cheap labour so we need to compete in other ways. This is why the mines were closed, it was cheaper to buy the materials from abroad than to subsidise our own workers that were digging it up.

I support leaving the EU, it's hardly an issue on immigration though I do really want to keep our green belt and and to stop damaging the countryside, unfortunately immigration accounts partially to the destruction of these.

Really I don't want to be ruled by the undemocratic european parliament, and be made to pay for the honour, I think its bloody stupid, why can't we be like Switzerland, Norway, Canada, Australia, as if people immediately jump to us being the Mexico of Europe, what a joke, being in the EU holds us back in so many ways, imagine if we'd of adopted the Euro, shit would have been much more fucked than it is now.

They oppose wind farms and have an economic policy that would result in anyone earning less than ~£45k paying more in tax.
