Spain feels that Basqueland belongs to Spain, Basques think the opposite. Armenia doesn't recognise Azerbaijan and vice versa. Tibet thinks that it should be independent, China disagrees. One nation, one country simply _does_ _not_ _work_ and has never worked. France was the first nation-state and destroyed several old cultures in the process. There can't be a nation-state without an immeasurable amount of pain and misery.
