I woke up at 6:30am Wednesday it is now 4am Thursday. Clear sky, a cool breeze and an open dark field. But like Charlie Bucket instead of seeing hundreds of meteors(chocolate bars) I saw 2.

I went out, saw about four within the space of half an hour, then thick clouds came up.

Thick cloud cover in my location, saw not a single thing.

I saw a great meteor shower back in 1980 though.

It's a given that where I live there is going to be too much cloud cover to ever see anything, including the moon breaking up and the pieces flying off into space.

Been that way forever, so I don't even get out of bed anymore to look.
