Amazon Prime Day was GARBAGE

Literally, the so called "lightning deals" were all tupperware and smartphone/tablet accessories for outdated models. I kid you not. I was crazy pumped for it. Thought I might get a sweet TV, laptop, video games, movies, etc. It was supposed to be "bigger and better" than Black Friday.
Nuhohmygod...what an embarrassment for them, and a waste of time for us. When I think "Black Friday" type deals, I don't think of diapers, household cleaners, and tupperware. *beep* me. It was bad.

Yeah very odd selection for all their promotion of it...kinda backfired.

I was a prime member before this day was announced; I enjoy speedy shipment of items after having to wait over a month for something one time. So, this day in theory was just supposed to be an added-on benefit to having already been a member.
That being said, I wasn't really impressed with any of the items they had. I figured if they didn't have any decent DVDs/Blu-Rays/electronics, I could at least find some toys for my nephews and niece. But no such luck, and I checked the site all throughout the day too.
Now I'm seeing that I wasn't the only one unimpressed.

Very disappointing. I purchased nothing which is probably a good thing anyway. There was a couple things that interested me, but they sold out quickly.

Well, I'm not sorry I missed it now.

I bought your house on there. You have 30 days to vacate.

Sounds good. Come on by to get it. The dogs are friendly; just ask the guy buried under my porch. But, Ron, you're a Kentucky guy. I bet you have some friendly dogs as well.

Being from Kentucky, I find it odd you buried the guy under your porch, but who am I to judge?

I agree, but I did get the extended LOTR Blu Ray collection for thirty bucks, and a pair of Audio-technica headphones for almost half price. LOTR is coming today; couldn't have asked for a better deal or faster shipping.

Damn, I could have used some smart Tupperware.
