I never understood how drug raids work.

So somebody just calls on the emergency, tells them my address and that I sell drugs and the cops will break through my door?

Please no sugar coating. I want to know the truth. I have bunch of MDMA in my house and was wondering how easily It can be sniffed out.

Here, if cops find out you're dealing drugs, they don't immediately raid you.

They start monitoring you, listening to all your communications and following you, to find out who your contacts are. That can take a few weeks, even months for larger operations.

When they think they've gathered enough data, they simply arrest you at a suitable time and search your house with a warrant.

as long as you don't grow or keep any stolen goods or be antisocial or are gang related you are probably small fish to the police, especially with budget cuts and shit recently.
