Would you consider a World War II map based around D day to be asymmetrical multiplayer? The soldiers themselves and the weapons are evenly matched with the tactics that need to be used or different for the allies and axis respectively. Since the map is designed where the Germans have high ground and only need to defend their base and whatnot would you consider this to be asymmetrical multiplayer?

Yeah that instance would be a good example. It'd make for one hell of a map if the next Battlefield is WW2.
I guess I find myself numb to MP games because they give an illusion of asymmetry but don't vary enough.

Day of Infamy has that.
would you consider this to be asymmetrical multiplayer?
It's my first time hearing this term, but sounds about right?

Kinda although attack and defend is pretty common multiplayer. Asymmetrical is more usually attributed to things like Evolve, where it was 1v4 or whatever.
