The Switch is meant to have the better version of Breath of the Wild - better loading times, audio, resolution and frame rate). I can also play it on the go if I really wanted to.

Since I never bought a Wii U, it's not worth buying one now just for one game, and I'd definitely want the Switch for Super Mario Odyssey later on anyway, so I might as well buy it now.

Probably not, but I'm reserving the option! I mean, not literally reserving the option, like I didn't preorder it or anything, but just reserving the option in principle.

I actually forgot during the big Switch event that Zelda is also coming out for Wii U, which I already have. So maybe it's silly to let that be my incentive for pulling the trigger on a Switch at launch. Twilight Princess certainly didn't lure me into getting a Wii right away, especially with the whole mirroring the entire game world nonsense.

But then again, the Switch itself is kinda sexy, and I'm nothing if not superficial. Also impulsive. I'm also impulsive. So maybe when the shiny new plaything comes out I will have to get it. Especially if the likes of Sol have the plaything and are gloating about it.

However, there's honestly not much on the immediate horizon that necessitates me getting one, so until some combination of, like, Monster Hunter / Xenoblade 2 / Mario assuming it's even good / etc are released, does it even matter?

Can't wait for Monster Hunter to come out on Switch. Loved MH3U on Wii U...but couldn't play MH4 on the 3DS because I didn't have a New 3DS with that...nubbin and the controls kind of sucked without a second analogue stick...

Bought a Circle Pad Pro to combat the issue but haven't used it yet...

I know I'm going to get it and am pretty excited to get my hands on it but the software line up is rather uninspiring. Debating if I should just get Breath of the Wild on Wii U and wait until Splatoon 2 drops to pick up the Switch.

I Am Setsuna, Has Been Heroes, Fast Racing RMX, Arms, and Snipperclips look like a decent enough time but are hardly a reason to buy a console...with the possible exception of Arms. I'll get 1, 2, Switch for the little one and I'm curious to play Steep...but not sure if I'll do that on the Switch...

The system doesn't look worth the purchase until at least Super Mario Odyssey hits...nearly next year. I doubt we'll see a price drop before then but there might be a $300 Odyssey bundle...
