Should Nintendo Kill Mascots?

Why are they still catering to their original fans, who are like 50 years old? Younger gamers want new stuff...they want blood and guts and zombies and open world tribal warfare!
Instead, Nintendo treats them like they're still in diapers. That might work for Tranny Portuguese gamers....but not the rest.

Don't even bother downplaying the power of mascots. I'm willing to bet that Colonel Sanders and Ronald McDonald Trump are as big as Mickey Mouse and Super Mario.

Don't you get it. The mascots hold down Nintendo and the market. They can't innovate because half their employees have to manage the mascots. I'm sure that keeps Nintendo from acquiring talent, would you want to be relEgated to making the next corny ass Mario?

I know. The Snowpiercerresque marketing trying to give Nintendo ips life support based on the representational analogues of dead developers are truly some of the most blue-pilled nonsense I've ever seen.

Idk, all of my younger relatives seem to be obsessed with Minecraft primarily.
