It makes sense when you factor in how popular the Wii U was because of its off-play capability with the gamepad. Everyone really cared about that a lot.

...the result is yet another system that's grossly underpowered, it doesn't look like it gets far past the WiiU and it's nowhere near the "current gen" systems of Xbox one and PS4, so it misses their multiplats and any that come to the next gen too.

$249 is a good price. Far more manageable than the pricing on Xbox One and PS4.

Are those any good at all for gaming? Also keep in mind, those hardware companies might not be making a profit, but Ninty likely won't sell at break even or a loss. Is it even feasible that a tablet-like console that cheap could perform well with games?
