Enough talking about video games we love how about something you hate? File down State Of Emergency for me. Ugh!

Anyone remember Lair pre-patch with ONLY motion controls? Yeah. No.

Overwatch! I don't see the appeal on this game and I don't know how a competitive game won the game of the year award. 😒

Sounds like you should avoid titles with "Shadow" in them.

Shadow of the Colossus

REALLY!?!?!

C'mon man. You gotta elaborate on that one!

Was it because there weren't enemies? Just bosses? Was the world boring to you?

Didn't you know what you were getting into before buying it?

A boss-battle focused game isn't my cup of tea no. I loved Ico, hated Shadow.

Did you like the story at least? Didja beat it?

What did you think of The Last Guardian?

I usually do a lot of research before I buy a game, so rarely do I buy one I dont end up liking a lot. But there are some I regret buying:

Odin Sphere for the PS2. I loved the art. I loved the footage I saw. However, I didn't realize how incredibly boring the "levels" would be, or the slow-down problem during most of the boss fights. It was unplayable in some parts. Terrible. And the voice-acting and story were cringe-worthy.

Unreal Tournament III for the PS3. It said there was a campaign. I didn't think that meant they would just be cookie cutter missions the same as any other....just with a few lines of dialogue thrown in. The articles I read made it sound like the campaign was unique and strong. Not just practice for multiplayer.

Shinobi for the 3DS. I bought a 3DS, thinking in the back of my mind that they might eventually make some great side-scrolling Castlevanias like the DS had, or even some sweet Metroid sidescrollers like the Gameboy Advance was bringing back. Or ANY kind of god damn mature, badass, non-baby games. It's 2017 and this still hasn't happened. Shinobi was practically a 3DS launch title, and I thought it would be my cup of tea. It ended up having the most unbalanced difficulty of all time, and pretty terrible graphics and level design. It was a chore to play.

Kid Icarus for the 3DS. This was me trying so hard to love the 3DS, and it just not happening. The controls for this game were so painful to play....I literally had to stop. I just couldn't pretend to like it any more. I beat several levels, and it was surprisingly beautiful and even fun....but those terrible controls got in the way every time.

I feel like there are more, but those are the main ones. I wish I had never bought any of them.
