Not sure how many might remember this little-known and highly overlooked 3D Action/Sci-Fi game from way back in 1997 for the original PlayStation. With none other than Bruce Campbell of Evil Dead fame voicing the lead character, you control a bomb specialist for the USMC who has to defuse various bombs in Area 51, but things take an unexpected turn when people aren't who they say they are and from there you can choose one of four different storylines to go through the game as; you can learn the truth behind the experiments at Area 51 and what happened to your father while surviving both hostile aliens and soldiers with orders to kill you, become an alien warrior helping the Alien Queen and her spawn to survive, secretly join forces with the soldiers sent to kill you or help the terrorist who planted the bombs throughout the secret base and learn his true motives.

It's a very fun and underrated game that sadly didn't get very recognized back then. The four different storylines you can choose make the game feel unique each time and you'll want to go through each at least once. While graphically and technically dated, it doesn't look bad for 1997 standards and there's some impressive level and creature designs. The music is memorable and adds a lot to enhance the game's often eerie ambience and also has a lot of good action cues to add to the excitement. You get a pretty enjoyable arsenal that includes flamethrowers, missiles, grenades, rapid-firing plasma bolts and even an alien weapon. And the lead character is made all the more entertaining thanks to Bruce Campbell's always amusing quips and one-liners.

You definitely owe it to yourself to track this down and give it a go if you never have. It's a true lost treasure from way back when.
