too many casuals. too many companies pushing out games every year for revenue instead of taking time and making masterpieces. too many microtransactions

Inflation. By that I mean, the great games of the 80's and 90's were created by individuals or small groups working on a shoestring. Their only goal was to make the best possible game. Once they proved that there was money to be made, big business lumbered in and started fagging up the place. Their only goal is to turn a profit.

Games are actually great thinking puzzles sometimes. Portal is a decent example.

Some games aren't any good I guess, but if you strive to be absolutely amazing at any game, you are going to have to think of clever strategies and develop the skill to implement them.

It's probably some of the best brain exercise that exists.

Me, I've used vidya in unhealthy ways and got addicted in the past.

Vidya occupied my mind and was a distraction that allowed me to shut out any real world problems I might have been facing. It made procrastinating and ignoring my work and responsibilities all the more easy.

I was hardest hit by MMOs and my health, grades and social life declined tremendously as a result.

It took me a year off school, lots of hard work and catching up to get back my life back in order. I'm glad I made it into one of the top unis in the world, though not in the most ideal course of study.

Even now I keep getting drawn back into vidya like a true addict.

Vidyas brought me a lot of joy, I cannot deny, but it's enabled me to achieve nothing that I am proud of having done crossing over into adulthood.

I regret ever having met vidya, but I was a child at the time and couldnt really have thought for myself back then.

Needs a mod that allows exclusively for disciplining cunt and using it for sexually recreation. As nature intended.
