Not buying it.

Hate the whole concept of AC games.

In-medias fucking res, they are in the future, but somehow in the past, and somehow re-imagining shit will change the present.

While there are many things to complain about with ac, the story isn't too jumbled...

The psuedo-science is that memories of ancestors are encoded in DNA. By finding the people with this DNA they can relive past lives. By doing this, they learn what really happened in history (because at least half if not more of what you hear is bullshit. History is written by the victor 100% of the time) and can find answers to questions they never could answer before. Like where was Ezio when he died with the last piece of eden (advanced tech from the race before humans) and if he died there, the piece is probably still there etc.

I'll be honest, I pirated it and played through maybe 10% before getting bored.

But I can also see huge potential for co-op gameplay. They fixed you being WAY overpowered to now you're just somewhat overpowered. You can only have one weapon at a time (with a pistol as well unless you're using a rifle as your main weapon, which you can melee with) and certain armor sets give various advantages like stealth, armor, ranged, etc. so if you had 4 people one or two heavy ass armored guys with big axes and shit, and then one dude with a rifle and one completely for stealth you could have some fun. Co-op missions looked cool but I couldn't play them cause pirate. Plus there's heists so you can get your gta bank robbery fix.

The game isn't without issues though. For being developed for 4 years it's shockingly unpolished. Way more clipping than even the first assassins creed (and 2(?) seemed to have almost no clipping at all), glitches occur occasionally when trying to climb something at an especially awkward angle like him grabbing and vaulting over air, and sometimes the camera gets weird in combat.

Haven't noticed more than one game-breaking glitch and it just involved fast traveling cause I got stuck somewhere and I was fine.

But if that Ezio-autistore guy died in the first one, why are there revelations and at least 3 other fucking games in which you run around the same sandy-castle-almost-like-current-day-iraq shit setting, slaying goats, doing parkour and shit ?

Yea, it's a bit nitpicking. But it's just may be the fact that I hate medieval ages, all movies and games that are set in it, revolve around it, etc...

tfw every resources for a thompson smg were available around at least the 1500s
tfw religion, killing for basic human sexuality
tfw humanity by itself

Heroes of might and magic 3&4 were cool tho.
