Hashimoto is the director this time, who has worked with Kamiya since the Devil May Cry games and was the designer of all the angels and demons on the first game, as well as being the producer of Bayo 1.
The whole team of Bayonetta 1 worked again on Bayo 2, including Don-san, the key programmer who is in charge of enemy AI.

The game looks like it's going to be even better than Bayo 1.
Plus, it comes with Bayo 1 with at least as good framerate as the 360, which is good news for people who owned it on PS3 (like me), and new costumes that are actually game-chaning.

So yeah.

Bayonetta 2. The Wii U isn't worth purchasing, but the PS4 is. People will just buy a PS4 to look at the plastic case because it's a good console with no games, but buying a Wii U just for Bayonetta 2 is wasted money.

I feel like a gigantic outlier. I'm a huge Nintendofag but I happen to be a huge Bayonetta fan as well (went so far as to buy the 360 version without owning the console, then borrowing one), so this entire thing has been nothing but good news to me.

I haven't seen any Bayonetta threads in a long time, but I remember when the announcement that Bayo 2 would be a Wii U exclusive was made, there was literally a giant shitstorm that lasted for several years. That's how mad Sony and Microsoft fanboys are when a game they don't even play or care about comes to a Nintendo console or to the PC.

Time will tell but people are still incredible salty about Bayonetta, 2 years after it was first announced to be a Wii U exclusive.

3rd party support means people will make games for your console because it will make them a profit, they will only think of this if your console has enough install base and the cost for developing on it is profitable too. Of course it means your console will get shit like cowadooty, but that also other developers will consider it, good developers, lets say CD projekt, maybe the console isn't powerful enough for the witcher, but they push it so they can get that mean, maybe they make a dumbed down version, or a different game, I don't know. I'm not talking about specifically them it could be any good developer.

3rd party support means you get more games besides the annual new super mario bros rehash

Another PCfag, seconding this. Wii U's not even relevant because of what kind of games it offers. The people who advocate this combo are people who basically paid for the status of PC gamer and are probably playing crap like AC because the Wii U port sucks so hard. No one's going to take these people seriously since they're not really getting involved with what most PC gamers are actually playing anyways.

It always had the retarded side of internet gaming culture, but when pewdiepie and co. got in, it REALLY blew up, the game went way over its niche and got to people it was not meant for, all because they were sold the idea that it was cool to play it because it was the hardest game ever and their favorite let's player kept dying in so funnay ways.

Basically /v/ just hates the community the game has formed over the years, and /v/ is not a hivemind, but you do get a lot of people here who tend to let that shit get to their enjoyment of games themselves, and /v/ hates /games/.

Sonyggers do just about all the shitposting you see on /v/. When they think they're "epic trolling" or whatever, it's usually just one Sony drone VS another Sony drone, and when they're done, they both convince themselves that they "sure told that PCfag!" or "Nintendrone".

The reason is that Sony, in all honesty, is not significantly better than Microsoft. And pretty much everyone agrees that they're bad. They're trying as hard as they can to stay relevant, sort of like Anita and Zoe.

All this being said, to answer OP's question, Bayo caused the bigger shitstorm. When Sony gets an exclusive, sure, you'll have some sonyggers who make a thread bragging on it, but nobody else really pays attention to it. Usually the thread will die with one or two replies because it's not that exciting of a thing. And Sony fans aren't even really going to play the game anyway, their satisfaction comes from other people not being able to play the game - Which is a farce anyway. The game is not truly "exclusive" to them; they do not have a special toy that the other kids don't get to play with like they think. Anyone can earn $400 and go buy a PS4. Just to put things in to perspective, when I was 15 years old (before I was even legally allowed to work) I had my own laptop which I paid for with my own money, and I still had hundreds of dollars in the bank. So $400 is absolutely fucking nothing.

after all this is why i stopped posting on /v/ and came to /games/, to many fags.
