The thing that gets me about Anita isn't the content of the shit she writes, it's the silencing of critics. She claims to be an academic but a common theme in academia is addressing your criticisms and accepting another view as legitimate. In her circumstances she chooses to respond to anonymous hate rather than criticism aimed at creating debate. Typically, that would weaken your argument since you're not addressing the issues raised by others however it seems that her and her fans show solidarity through an extreme victim complex. Yes, she's going to get slander and sexist comments thrown at her but that's to be expected and for the most part harmless. Her twitter focuses on patting herself on the back and posting meaningless anonymous abuse.

I'd respect her a little bit more if she addressed the criticisms of her work and the fact that she doesn't proves that a shit academic.
