So /games/, let me ask you something about Metal Gear Solid.

About how long would you say beating 1-4 (PW included) would take? This is one of those series I've always wanted to get into but just never bothered with, but I think I'm gonna sit down and try to do it in a little while. I'm not expecting to finish each game in a weekend or something but I'd like to know this won't be all I do for the next month or something.

Anywhere between 50-60 hours assuming you're not going for platinum or anything like that.

Peace Walker can take longer, as it has fucktons of unlockables and stuff to grind. I've clocked over 300h by now.

10-15h is pretty typical playthrough time for most of them. It really depends how much you like to fool around in the games (there's tons of TECHNOLOGY and options), and how much you get stuck.

Probably about 8 hours per game, except for MGS4, which took me 18 hours the first time (without skipping any cutscenes.)
