How do I become better at reading? I don't mean understanding themes or vocabulary, I have that in the bag, My problem is I read very slowly, and I get distracted easily. not even about interesting things, I will be reading, and my mind will wander onto the most mundane things, about brushing my teeth, scheduling a haircut, or formatting a USB stick. To top it all off, I have can't read in any environment that isn't completely silent.

is there any method you found to help you focus/read faster?

I don't read comics or Visual novels that often, but I've noticed that when I do I can read them without getting distracted in the slightest.
